 Hordes of lesbians will once again descend on the sleepy town of Esk on the weekend of September 13-14 for Flanno Esk.
 Lesbian Super Group will play at Flanno Esk. Though the official party runs on the Saturday from 4pm, gates open at 9am for those keen to set up camp, meet and greet and settle in before settling back. Saturday night’s entertainment will include L.S.G, Women in Docs, Cockfighter, Terry Fitzgerald, Kristy Apps, Zia, Tricky BoomBang, Shoshanna Beck and the perennial Trasey Chambers. On the Sunday, things get all communal with the “Sista Sessions”, an open mic jam session in which anyone is welcome to get up and perform. With this addition to the party it means that visitors are most welcome to stay on the Sunday night! An entry fee of $50 covers your weekend for camping and entertainment. All you have to do is get yourselves to Esk, which is about two hours west of Brisbane All tickets are prepaid so that the organisers can arrange porta-loos and catering. You have the option of bringing your own food, or there will be soup, hamburgers, coffee and tea for sale. There’ll also be a great “Phatt Chix Breakfast” available on Sunday. All drinks are BYO. It’s important to bring everything else you need for camping, including chairs and drinking water as there is no town water on tap on the property. Porta-loos and bush dunnies are available, but there are no showers. There are also spaces for stall-holders.
