Open Doors is a unique service supporting young people aged between twelve and eighteen who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or trans (GLBT), or are questioning their sexuality. But this valuable service can’t continue without support – which is where events like ‘Bent’ come in. An under-18s party which will raise funds for Open Doors, Bent will feature acts including electronic duo Dizzygotheca (pictured), Twist Oliver Twist, Girl With Cake, Kristy Apps and various DJs. “We’re very excited to be playing our first underage event for such a good cause,” Heidi from Dizzygotheca told Queensland Pride. “It’s going to be a great event!” Bent will be held on Saturday, June 27 at the Queensland Association for Healthy Communities (QAHC) headquarters, 30 Helen Street, Newstead.
