Gay chicken shop tycoon Gerardus Heijne has been found guilty of murdering his male partner at their luxury apartment in Perth, The Australian has reported.

Heijne, 45, faces a minimum 10-year sentence after a West Australian Supreme Court jury found him guilty of murdering Frank Ciancosi, 55, a co-owner with Heijne of the WA’s Lenard’s Chicken master franchise.

The court found that Heinje murdered Ciancosi – his partner of 25 years – during a brutal argument over a 19-year-old toy boy.
