A splash of red umbrellas made for a striking sight against the green of Queens Park on December 1 when about 150 people gathered for a World AIDS Day memorial at the Brisbane in Red event. Co-hosted by former Big Brother favourite David Graham and Nova Radio’s Emily Jade, the memorial featured a performance by Ricki Lee.

Earlier, about 40 people attended a Queensland Association for Healthy Communities barbecue, which raised money for QAHC’s Hope Fund.
